Welcome, Dragons! 

My name is Bryn Tompkins and I teach second grade here at Allenwood. As I begin my fourth year of teaching, I feel so lucky to work within such a supportive school community. I can't wait to kick off the 2025-2026 school year!

Second grade is such a special year! Students begin to grow more independence, curiosity, and confidence in their learning. I love seeing their excitement as they explore new ideas, build friendships, and achieve their goals. It's wonderful to be a part of their educational journey and to make so many memories together! 

When I am not in the classroom, you can usually find me enjoying the beach, reading a book, or spending time with my dog, Lola. I am also a lover of all things arts & crafts, so I encourage all of my learners to embrace their creativity. I can't wait for all of the adventures this school year will bring!
