Welcome to First Grade!

I am thrilled to be team teaching with Mrs. Dowd for the 2025-2026 school year. We are going to have an amazing year! I am looking forward to watching our students grow as readers, writers and mathematicians.

I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a degree in Special Education. I am certified in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Wilson Reading. This is my 15th year teaching.  I have spent the majority of my career teaching first grade. I have also taught second grade and K-5 reading intervention. My goal is for our students to have fun learning and come home happy every day!

My hobbies include reading, exercising, and traveling. I've lived in NJ my entire life and love going to the beach. I am married with 3 children and also have 2 small dogs. I love being an Allenwood Dragon and enjoy being a part of my students' learning journeys.
