Welcome to Third Grade!
My name is Rachel Burrell, and I am thrilled to be teaching third grade this year. This is my eleventh year as a special educator. Over the years, I have worked in both second and fourth grade.
I graduated from Rowan University with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Writing Arts as well as endorsements in Reading and Special Education. In 2020, I received my Master's degree in Special Education and Supervisor Certification. Teaching is genuinely my passion, and I believe that all students can reach their fullest potential by individualizing instruction and making connections to their strengths as well as learning styles.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, painting, and cooking! I also love running, hiking, and snowboarding. Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I look forward to learning more about you and your child throughout this school year!
